Alan Hopkins - Chairman

Alan has over 25 years experience in resource companies including more than twenty years at board level in public companies. This experience has strongly focused on managing resource companies with international operations & covering all stages through exploration, development & mining. He has extensive strategic experience in start- up / turnaround situations & managing through periods of exceptional growth.

Alan has extensive links in Asia as CEO of Pan Asia Corporation Ltd and had a strong grounding in gold and bulk commodities. This included being a founding Australian executive of leading international gold engineering and consulting firm Edward L Bateman and also as part of the Grants Patch Mining executive team that brought onstream multiple gold projects with corresponding significant increases in its market capitalization. Alan also has considerable operating experience in Kazakhstan and is actively engaged in Asia.

Luke Martino - Director, alternate Director for Alan Hopkins

Luke has over 20 years experience at partner and board level with major accounting firms and is a Director of several private and public companies. He has gained significant experience and  established credibility in the mining & resources, property and hospitality industries. Luke has an entrepreneurial passion for nurturing businesses and specialises in corporate and growth business consulting.

Luke is a Director of the Indian Ocean Group Pty Ltd, Non-Executive Director of Pan Asia Corporation Limited (ASX: PZC), as well as the Company Secretary for South East Asia Resources Limited (formerly Victory West Metals Limited) (ASX: SXI) and Blackgold International Holdings Limited (ASX:BGG). He is also a former Director of South Pacific Resources, a Canadian publicly listed company with mining projects in the Republic of Indonesia and a former Board Member of the Deloitte Australian practice.  

Robin Gill - Executive Director, acting joint Managing Director

Robin Gill has 30 years of experience in the international petroleum industry. He has held both management and executive roles with multi-national and independent oil and gas companies.

Mr Gill was Managing Director of Dynergy Global Liquids, and Chief Executive Officer of natural gas development company Danagaz, which he co-founded.

Erulan Kanapyanov - Non-executive Director

Erulan Kanapyanov has 40 years of experience in business in Kazakhstan, including in mining. He has held various senior executive and board positions and is the president of Kazakhstan-Australia Limited. He has a long-standing relationship with Central Asia Resources and provides the company with extensive local, professional and government knowledge.

Philippe Reiser - Non-Executive Director

Philippe Reiser has more than 30 years of experience in private banking. He is a Director on several boards across the world.

Duncan Greenaway - Chief Operating Officer

Duncan Greenaway has more than 35 years of wide-ranging, international experience in exploration, mining and contract drilling throughout Australasia, southern Africa and Eastern Europe. His experience includes 22 years in gold exploration and production.

Mr Greenaway's previous roles include Vice President of exploration at TSX-listed Superior Mining International, Exploration Director at Goldstar Resources (ASX-listed) and Exploration Manager at Gabriel Resources in Romania. In these roles he has been responsible for significant resource growth through exploration and acquisition.
