Central Asia Resources (CVR) listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2007, to fund the acquisition and exploration of Altyntas and other projects in Kazakhstan. 

In 2008 the Company acquired Dalabai, and focused on developing the project to provide cashflow to explore and develop other projects.  Mining commenced at Dalabai in September 2011. Processing is on track to commence in Quarter 1, 2012, with the first gold pour and revenue expected soon after.

Central Asia Resources is working on defining economic resources at its Altyntas and Bizhe projects, and bringing those to production.  The Company will also look for further opportunities in Kazakhstan particularly in the area around Dalabai, with the aim of Dalabai becoming a central processing facility for prospects in the region through acquisition, joint-venture or toll processing.
