Golden Eagle Investment Resources Ltd
Central Asia incorporated Golden Eagle to acquire an interest in the Kazakhstan Projects from Mr
Philippe Reiser, the vendor of Palmerston and Moonstone. Golden Eagle's only assets are its two
wholly owned subsidiaries:-
A) Moonstone Holdings Pty Ltd, which owns a 95% interest in the Altyn-Tas Joint Venture.
B) Palmerston Projects Ltd, which owns a 60% interest in the Buguty-Palm Joint Venture.

Palmerston and Moonstone
Palmerston and Moonstone commenced operations in Kazakhstan in 1995. Since then and through a joint venture with Kazakhstan-Australia LLP, Palmerston and Moonstone acquired an interest in the Joint Ventures and the Licences. In doing so Palmerston and Moonstone secured data for 17,000 metres of Russian drilling, and spent over US$16m in exploration (including extensive drilling).
Joint Venture
The co-joint venturer with Moonstone and (via Buguty LLP) Palmerston is Kazakhstan-Australia LLP, a Kazakhstan limited liability partnership established in 1991. Its main activities are related to geology, mining, project management and consulting services. Kazakhstan-Australia LLP participates in several joint ventures that carry out geological exploration in the Republic of Kazakhstan (including the Joint Ventures) and also is the founder of several Kazakh companies that have entered into subsoil use contracts with the Republic of Kazakhstan in different regions of the country (Mynaral ore field in Zhambyl oblast, Dalabay gold and silver deposit and Bizhe-2 area in Almaty oblast).
Kazakhstan-Australia LLP also provides consulting services for Australian and other foreign companies that intend to undertake commercial activities and business in Kazakhstan.
