Project Overview

Central Asia Resources holds four licence areas in Kazakhstan.  These include four prospects with JORC Resources, all of which have exploration upside, and areas of significant prospectivity based on extensive exploration during Soviet times.  The licence areas are within recognised gold belts, and close to operating mines and infrastructure.

Mining has commenced at our first project, Dalabai. Processing is on track to start in December 2011, with gold production scheduled to begin in Quarter 1, 2012.

Bizhe is initially being evaluated as potential feed for Dalabai, less than 20 kms away. Exploration is underway based on encouraging trenching results.

Altyntas is the Company's largest prospect. Exploration and testwork continuing in 2012 will be aimed at commencing production from heap leach in 2013, and increasing production with the construction of a CIL plant in 2015.

The Company will also be seeking other opportunities in the Dalabai region.

From 2007 to 2009 total Resources increased from less than 100,000 ounces of gold to 1.285 million ounces, across four prospects each of which has a minority shareholder.

Kepken and Kengir are part of the Altyntas prospects and are expected to form part of a regional plan.
